The LG Spectrum

The LG Spectrum is a great Android smartphone that is expected to hit the shelves for Verizon Wireless customers this year. It runs on the Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system, although users will be able to upgrade to the latest operating system, 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, in June 2012.

The screen can easily rival that of Apple’s iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S with its 329 pixels per inch. Web browsing on the Spectrum is sure to be a great experience, and the battery is quite big at 1830 mAh. The phone connects to 4G LTE and sports an 8 megapixel camera that can capture 1080p video. The Spectrum is available with 16GB of memory that can be expanded to 32GB by way of microSD card.

The Sony Xperia Ion

The Xperia Ion is expected to hit the shelves for AT&T customers in the second half of 2012.
