The handset will currently run you about $100 on a new two year contract, but if you’d like an attractive Android smartphone with a QWERTY keyboard on it, look no further. 

LG Marquee – This handset is currently going for $99.99 at Sprint, but you can actually get it for free with a two year contract at Best Buy. The LG Marquee has a stylish look and a different take on the design of the back of the handset. It’s sleek looking but you may not find it attractive. It’s backed by solid reviews on Cnet.com, coming in at a 4 out of 5 star rating for the CNET Editors rating, and currently a 5 out of 5 star rating for the average user rating.



LG’s Marquee comes equipped with a 1GHz processor, 4.0″ touchscreen display, Android 2.3, 512MB of RAM, 2GB of internal memory, 5MP camera, 2MP front facing camera, and 720p HD video capture. 

Samsung Stratosphere – The Stratosphere from Samsung is another slider smartphone available to Verizon Wireless customers. Don’t get caught paying $100 for this handset though, as it’s currently available at Best Buy for $0.00 on a two year contract. The Samsung Stratosphere comes with a slightly more powerful processor than the HTC Evo Shift 4G, it probably doesn’t have a noticeable difference so it’ll most likely be a choice of design if your wanting a slider smartphone.

HTC Thunderbolt – The HTC Thunderbolt from Verizon has been around quite some time now, and has gained a reputation as being one of best smartphones for your money. It comes equipped with a massive 4.3″ touchscreen display, that HTC is well known for. So if you like mobile gaming or just desire more screen real estate, you may want to check this smartphone out!



Cnet.com has this stylish handset at 4 stars out of 5 for the CNET Editors rating, and an average rating of 3 1/2 stars for the users. It’s the Exhibit II 4G from Samsung, and it packs a 1GHz processor with an attractive color and design. The Exhibit II 4G currently ranges anywhere from free to over $300. Your best bet is to check out Wirefly.com, where you might find it to be free, or cheaper than other authorized dealers.
